New Season!

posted Aug 31, 2010, 3:52 PM by TFC Director

We are gearing up for the 2010 season! The Kickoff Retreat is right around the corner, and teams are forming now. We still have time to come to your church or school, so let Adam know if you'd like to set up a demonstration!

Help Quizzing Grow!

posted May 26, 2010, 3:13 PM by TFC Director

This summer, we want to visit churches to run quiz demonstrations and workshops. To help us:
  • Invite to your church!  We are still looking for places that would be interested in quizzing.
  • Help out with demos! We need teens to show what quizzing is like, and how much fun it is.  Volunteer once, or for as many times as you like!
Email Adam, director@tfcnw.org, if you want to get involved!

2009 Servant Leadership

posted Aug 7, 2009, 5:14 PM by Adam Borries

Student Leaders wanted!
Are you passionate about the Bible Quizzing program?  Do you want to learn what it means to be a good, godly leader, and apply what you learn in a practical setting?

Adam is looking right now for young people to be part of this year's

Servant Ministry Team

You don't have to be an up-front kind of person; you just have to have a heart to serve people, and desire to influence others.  Applying students must be:
  • at least in their second year of quizzing
  • in 9th grade or higher
  • willing to commit to team meetings twice a month,
    tentatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoons

Talk to Adam, or email him at adamborries@gmail.com .

Need New Meet Building

posted Aug 7, 2009, 4:19 PM by Adam Borries   [ updated Sep 18, 2009, 12:00 PM ]

UPDATE: We have a new building to hold our monthly meets!

Christ the King Community Church in Bellingham has graciously agreed to host our Fall meets.  We will be using the upstairs classrooms (to back and right of the Commons area, as you come in).

Please note we have changed these meet dates to accommodate their schedule:
  • November 21
  • December 12

We urgently need a new building to hold our monthly meets!

King Mtn Church doesn't have room for us in their schedule this year, so we need your help to find a new facility.  We are exploring options with other churches, but we are running out of time!

Do you have a connection with a church that would suit our needs?   We are looking for a church building that:
  • is centrally located, for quizzers from all over the county
  • has at least 3 class-sized rooms, 15'x30' minimum
  • has a larger meeting room which will hold 100+ people
  • will rent to us one Saturday a month for $50 or less.
Please contact us at 354-3075, or office@tfcnw.org
